Page 4 & 5: ELOP: ROWUSD Summer ELOP (expanded Learning Opportunities Program). SUmmer Program for TK-6th Grade students. Open to ALL TK-K students. First come First Serve. Locations: Charles Hoffman Elementary (CHE) and Valley of Enchantment Elementary (VOE). School bus transportation provided for LAE students. Drop off/Pick up only for CHE and VOE students. Session One will be held on June 16th through June 27th. Session Two will be held from June 30th through July 1st, and Session Three will be held on July 14th through July 30th.  Half-Day 8 am to 12 pm and Full Day Hours from 8 am to 5 pm options. See Bus Schedule for drop off/pick up times at LAE. Free for qualifying families. Enrollment Required. Program includes: breakfast, lunch, & snacks. various activities provided during each session, STEM curriculums, sports & recreation activities, social & emotional skills, outdoor activities and Fun! Page 11: CHE Weekly Message: Dear Families, This week is a busy & exciting week at CHE! Our 4th & 5th-grade students will take English Language Arts (ELA) &  Math State Testing this week.  We kindly ask parents to help set their students up for success by ensuring they get plenty of rest night, enjoy a healthy breakfast, & receive encouraging words to boost their confidence. Let’s remind them that we are proud of their hard work & know they will do their best! On Tuesday, April 29, we are hosting’ StarLab Assemblies’ all day. StarLab is a portable, inflatable planetarium that brings the wonders of space and astronomy to life!  Students will have the opportunity to explore the night sky, learn about constellations, and discover fascinating science concepts in this unique, hands-on experience. Additionally, we will conduct a brief fire drill on Thursday, May 1, at 1:20 PM. This is an important part of ensuring our students and staff are prepared  & safe in case of an emergency.

Page 12 & 13:  CHE Pizza with a Purpose: Join CHE for a saucy good time at our Pizza Fundraiser on Wednesday, 4/30!  Whether you dine in or take it to go-a portion of your dinner will go straight to supporting CHE & their amazing students! Let’s come together as a community, share some laughs, & enjoy some seriously Delicious PIZZA-all while making a DIFFERENCE! At CHE-So mark YOUR calendars, bring YOUR appetite, & we’ll see you there! EVERY BITE COUNTS!! Proceeds will be used for CHE students last 2 PTA-sponsored assemblies of the year. Star Lab & the The Reptile Hunter. CHE PTA 'Pizza Party' Fundraiser hosted by Neo's Pizza House. Neo's Pizza House has generously partnered with the CHE PTA and will be donating a percentage of sales on Wednesday 4/30 to benefit our local Charles Hoffman Elementary students. ALL SALES (dine-in and to-go) between 4 pm until closing-will be eligible for the fundraiser. Wednesday, 4/30 from 4 pm to closing. Din in (2 tickets) and to-go (1 ticket) supporters will earn FREE raffle tickets toward coffee, cocoa, & cookies gift basket donated by Jason Stehmeier and MTRZD Coffee Co. Look for Rocky the Racoon at Neo's from 4 pm to 7 pm to enter. Raffle ends at 7 pm. Winner does not need to be present.

ROWUSD is excited to announce that we are currently accepting registration & enrollment information for students who plan to enter Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for the 2025-26 school year.  What is Transitional Kindergarten (TK)? TK provides an early childhood education program that builds a bridge between preschool years and traditional Kindergarten. This program provides children with a well-planned classroom program to build the necessary social and academic skills for success throughout their school careers. Registration requirements Age restrictions: Students must be 5 years of age ON or BEFORE September 1st to enter kindergarten. 5/22:  check in 2:15 PM-front parking lot at RHS.; 5/23 return AT 5:00 am-front parking lot at RHS; All belongings will be checked before boarding the bus.

RHS & RVA Senior Walk – June 6 @ 9:15 am;  Seniors who turned in a permission slip to participate will head to the RHS front parking lot to board a bus. BRING your cap & gown..  Seniors & their families (MAX 5 people) commemorative photo:  ride lift 1 to  top of Snow Valley  cap & gown required to access the lift. RHS & RVA Graduation Practice June 9 @ 12:00 pm-RHS PAC Center. Seniors must attend grad practice to participate in graduation. RHS & RVA Graduation CEREMONY June 10th, 2025 at5:00 pm  . 
Seniors need to be in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) by 3:30 pm. Dress code for graduating seniors is semi-formal attire. GRADUATION Parking: all parking lots open @ 3 pm ; The 100-parking lot reserved for graduating seniors ONLY.  (SENIORS main parking lot in front of the school). RHS ONLY: Diploma PICK-UP: June 11th-june 20th
 Counseling Office from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.; RHS ONLY: Transcripts:  place transcript orders ; See Mrs. Hallmark @ Counseling Office. ; MAILING transcripts: Bring name & address of the college(s) ; There is a $5 fee for each transcript after 2 copies.
