The Governing Board of Trustees of the Rim of the World Unified School District will have a Board Meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025, to conduct a Public Hearing to determine the availability of textbooks, to certify that each pupil in the district has, or will have within eight weeks of the beginning of the school year, sufficient textbooks or instructional materials, or both, in each subject and that are consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the State Board as pursuant to Education Code 60119, in accordance with provisions of the Williams settlement.

The goals of the Personnel Services Department are as follows:
Goal #1 – To recruit, select and retain the most highly qualified candidates for all open positions in the District in a manner that makes the greatest contribution to the instructional program.
Goal #2 - To promote employee/employer relations for a climate in which optimum staff performance and satisfaction are produced to maximize staff impact on the instructional program.
Goal #3 – To promote and support effective personnel practices which contribute to the effective application of staff capabilities for the benefit of the instructional program.
Goal #4 – To provide quality customer service to our staff, parents, students, and community members.
The goals of the Personnel Services Department reflect our commitment to the success of each student. Learning will always be our top priority. We will strive for excellence while maintaining the family atmosphere, passion and integrity that make us unique.
