Open Enrollment for Medical, Dental, Vision & Basic Life Insurance:
- The District's annual Open Enrollment for the 2026-2027 Plan Year will begin May 1, 2026, through May 15, 2026.
- Per IRS Section 125 regulations, Open Enrollment is the only time of year when changes can be made to your insurance elections, unless you have a Qualifying Life Event.
- Qualifying Life Events:
- Birth
- Adoption
- Marriage
- Divorce
- Change in employment status
- Loss of other coverage
- Gain of other coverage
- Death of a dependent
Changes to your insurance elections must be made within 30 days of a Qualifying Life Event. Proper documentation must be provided during this timeframe.
Employee benefits are maintained online on the Employee Benefits Website. Benefit details, Claim Forms, Annual Notices, etc. can also be found on the employee benefit website.
