Fun Events & Activities at Running Springs Library

We would like to share that the Running Springs Library has a variety of fun events and activities for students and families.  These are a great way to spark creativity, build connection, and encourage a love of reading and learning outside the classroom.

Session 4: August 17th - September 27th, 2025
Preschool Storytime: Thursdays, 10:00 a.m.- Library Beginners (0-5 Years). Preschool Storytime: Enjoy an engaging storytime geared toward the younger crowd featuring stories, songs, rhymes, a craft, and more. A letter is featured each day to help familiarize children with the sights and sounds of the alphabet. 
Kids Zone (6-11 years): Wednesdays at 4 pm - Family Game Time: Enjoy the fun and challenge of playing a variety of board games while making new friends. 
Craft Corner: Create wonderful, themed projects and learn new skills using a variety of artistic supplies.
Special Events/Meetings: Tuesday, August 26th, 4 pm: Adult Book Club-Come together with other book enthusiasts to read and discuss selected novels and nonfiction. Everyone is welcome to share their perspectives and insights.  
Threads: Thursday, September 4th at 4 pm. This program ranges from knitting to crocheting to needlecraft, with a focus on skill improvement and projects to donate to a local charity or hospital. 
Off Session: September 28 - October 11, 2025.
The Kids Zone (6-11 years) is held on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. 
Storytime: The whole family can be a part of the reading adventure at this wonderfully fun and engaging storytime with great stories, songs, rhymes, a craft, and more.  
Special Events/Meetings:
The Adult Book Club will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Come together with other book enthusiasts to read and discuss selected novels and nonfiction. Everyone is welcome to share their perspectives and insights! 
Threads: The event will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025. This program ranges from knitting to crocheting to needle crafting, with a focus ranging  from skill improvement to projects to donate to a local charity or hospital. 
All County Library branches will be closed on Friday, August 15 & Monday, September 1, 2025. 
Library Hours: Monday from 11 am to 7 pm | Tuesdays from 11 am to 7 pm | Wednesdays from 11 am to 7 pm | Thursdays from 10 am to 6 pm | Fridays closed | Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm | Sundays closed.
